What does Spindle Reporting produce?
Spindle Reporting covers four kinds of output:
- operational reports
- correspondence
- statements
- generated documents
Where does the data for reports come from?
Spindle ODS provides governed operational projections, canonical models and feeds for reporting and analytics. Spindle Reporting is one of the ways that data is used.
Where are generated documents kept?
Where the customer selects it, Spindle Content stores and manages documents and records.
Does Spindle Reporting replace the customer's general ledger?
No. Spindle PAS produces policy-level financial postings for transfer to the customer's general ledger. Spindle Reporting does not include a general ledger.
Can I use Spindle Reporting without Spindle PAS?
Spindle works alongside existing policy systems. A customer can adopt the engagement, process and integration layers without subscribing to Spindle PAS.
